What does a bum look like?

So I have this week off of work. I am getting a lot done around the house, but I am also being quite a bum by watching movies and playing video games. I am a guitar god on easy on guitar hero and well on my way to a guitar god on medium. Yes you should be very impressed.

Deadbeat Blogger

OK so I let too much time elapse since my last post. I am going to give a rundown of all of the funny and fantastic things that have happened to me over the past 2 weeks.

1. I strangled a hobo. (that was a mistake, I accidentally posted the #1 on my to do list)

2. Last Friday we had some friends in town so we went to the Flamingo Bowl on Washington street. It is a pretty cool place, but the best part is that our friend Dustin gets us free beer. We had a celebrity sighting that night. It was none other than Jonesy and Garcia from TV's Reno 911. It was strange because I just looked up and there they were. We didn't bother them, because lots of people were already doing that, but I thought it was pretty cool. We still can't figure out why they were in St. Louis.

3. Ashley got the game "Rock Band" for his PS3. Let me just say that it is totally fun. I was mostly the lead singer and I did pretty well on the songs I knew. I also would not ever like to hear the song "Mississippi Queen" again. We had to quit after 3 hours in a row after I lost my voice singing Iron Maiden.

4. Last Saturday night I ate a cheeseburger that was smashed into the shape of a hot dog at 7-11. It was surprisingly delicious. I highly recommend them. I'm thinking about starting the diet where I only eat foods shaped as hot dogs that are not actually hot dogs. Any thoughts?

5. For Valentine's day Casey and I had a nice time, even though she wanted to go to Red Lobster. She thought it would be funny to go, and it was in its own special way, but the food is really not that great. That night we watched Little Shop of Horrors before getting down to business. I forget how much I like that movie/musical. It is really funny and has some great songs. We used to have a dubbed copy on VHS growing up.

6. I think I am obsessed with this fighter named Kimbo Slice. He is just scary and there are tons of videos of him beating people up on the Internet.

7. You should look for videos of Dr. Steve Brule on youtube.

8. I have next week off and I only have friends in cold places. Well my brother lives in California, but I don't have money to fly. This means that I have to find something to do with myself.

9. We just got Guitar Hero III for the Wii. I will play it a lot.

10. Happy Birthday to Christmas, Kevin and Dr. Widitz

11. I think that I am invincible. I don't wear coats and I don't get sick. I've never broken a bone and I can bench press 800 pounds. All that is true except for one thing. Who can guess what it is? I'm not funny. bye.

Insane Clown Pizza

I forgot to mention that when I saw the website for the pizza place (ipcstlouis), all I could think about was the Insane Clown Posse for some reason. It made me imagine a Pizza Place run by the Insane Clown Posse. This place would surely be terrible, but still a place I wish existed. Last summer when I was in Kentucky I was at a Huddle House eating breakfast and all of the sudden a busload of ICP fans came in with their full ICP gear. I later found out that there is a ICP festival every year in rural Illinois. Who knew?

I will soon be hit by a truck

I feel happy lately. I'm not sure I can get used to this, but I seem to enjoy things now. I think I can owe it all to leaving a job I grew to hate. I still have shitty things to think about, but who doesn't. Like my grandpa is not doing very hot and he is getting moved to a Veteran's home. I should visit him more, but it is so uncomfortable. He does not really want to be around anymore and this makes it hard to hang out and make small talk. I also have some debt that I think about too often, but that happens.

I voted in the primary on Tuesday and voted for the winner of Missouri. I have had quite a string of losers lately, not that it matters that much, but it is nice to win.

Don't go to Kirkwood. It is dangerous.

I worked from home yesterday and not too much was going on. The issues that came up I had an answer for which is always nice. Casey and Ashley and I went to Adriana's for lunch. It is this place on the hill that has awesome sandwiches. I had beef on cheese garlic bread. drool
After work I went for a run with Josh. Then we started off for the Tony birthday extravaganza. We went to this place called Incredible Pizza Company. It was very strange, but good overall. It is sort of like a giant Chuck E. Cheese but with other things too. They have a pizza buffet and video games, skee-ball, DDR, mini golf, bumper cars, go carts, etc.... We played one of those tests of strength where you hit a plunger with a mallet and I got the high score. Who's jealous? I think it was called Tower of Power or something like that. We gave Tony all the tickets and he won some junk, but it was fun earning the junk. Then we saw the "film" Strange Wilderness. By the way, don't see Strange Wilderness.

I got nothing for this weekend, but I need to plan what to do with my week off sometime in Feb.

Great Weekend!

Wooooooooooooooooooo. I had a fun weekend and I didn't even see any boobies at Mardi Gras. That is because I didn't go. I did drink a lot though.

So we had the snowstorm which was kind of nice because I got to work from home on Thursday and Friday. I threw snowballs at the doggies a lot and they enjoyed that.

I dug myself out of the snow on Friday night so I could go to a Happy Hour for the end of the W-2 season at work. I intended on making an appearance and taking off early (my usual trademark), but I was there for about 8.5 hours. That is quite a happy hour. It was a good time though because I haven't really gotten to hang out with my co-workers outside of work yet. They are all pretty fun and semi partay animals. I was even out on the dance floor shaking it. I think everyone was impressed. They probably were not impressed, but people are just surprised that I have rythm. I guess I am akward looking?

The cover band was terrible. Well I guess they were good musicians, but they were a cover band called "Griffin and the Gargoyles." One of my bosses called me a music snob because I hate Seven Mary Three who sings that god awful song "Cumbersome." I think that having to explain why you hate Seven Mary Three is similar to having to explain why you hate getting kicked in the balls. So that was a way better time than I expected.

Saturday I spent trying to recover from my long night of drinking. Which is why I didn't go to Mardi Gras along with the fact that is was still snowy and slushy. Then I picked up my special lady from the airport and we went to watch some UFC fights. I won't bore you with the details, but all of the fights were great. There were lots of submissions and a knockout or two. All matches were very exciting. I drank 2 dollar Mickey's hand grenades. After the fight we went to Ashley's house to say hello to everyone. The sHadow bought this amazing jacket from burlington coat factory. It was neon yellow with different color neon dinosaurs on it. The inside lining of the hood was pink silk with gold dollar signs. It had a zipper that started at the hood and zipped all the way down the back so that I guess you could get other jackets and wear half of one and half of the other. It was truly amazing.

Sunday I ran 5 miles in the slushy snow. I was proud of myself for keeping on track with my half marathon training for a full week already. That is the second furthest I have ever run. I ran a 10K back in 2004. Then we had a super bowl get together at our house. It was pretty laid back and fun. The puppy bowl on animal planet was also amazing as usual. I ate a bunch of junk and I paid for it later when I was on the super toilet bowl in the middle of the night. It was not pleasant, but I feel great now.

I have to decide what to do with my week of of work this month. So many options, so little money.

The spell checker appears to be broken so I apologize for any idiocy.
