Who likes Wrassling?

I just completed the two busiest weeks of the year at work. It wasn't bad, but it was certainly action packed. Next week will still be relatively busy, but I might be out of the deep woods.

What has been happening? I'm not sure. It is all a blur.

It was cold as fuck last week. I had to let my car warm up for like 10 minutes every time I went somewhere otherwise the brakes & power steering were frozen. I never wore a coat though. I rule.

My parents got a dog. His name is Ninja and he is a Japanese Chin (I think). He is very laid back and lovable. We'll see how he and my doggies interact. Hopefully not terribly.

Yesterday one of my very best friends, Joe, and his special lady had a new special lady baby. I went to see them today and everyone is doing well. She is cute and she doesn't do anything. Oh wait she did poop a lot while I was there. Congrats!!!

This weekend here are my goals:

1. Go watch the Wrassler at the Tivoli. ( I better reach this goal because I already bought tickets online).
2. Go see Tony play some musics at Cafe Ventana.
3. Give a Bolivian man an appendectomy.
4. Play Zelda (beat it maybe? I am on hour 25 or 26).
5. Go to Roller Derby Trivia night and win fabulous prizes.
6. Snort an anthill.
7. See my very special friend Jamie and her crew from Canadia.
8. Give myself props for spelling appendectomy right on the first try.

PETA is trying to get people to refer to fish as sea kittens so they won't want to eat them. Adult swim made the joke that all this talk made them hungry for land fish (actual kitties). hahaha

It puts the lotion on its skin

I have been putting on lotion since I almost scratched all my skin off last week. I must say that I hate it. I feel slimy all day and like a woman. I feel like a slimy woman. Besides that all is well.

Friday night was pretty low key. Me and the Mrs went to bandanas BBQ. We usually enjoy this, but it was a real disappointment. I kind of don't want to go there ever again. We then rented Kung-Fu Panda from the Red Box outside of Walgreens. I was impressed at how easy and cheap this thing is. I watched Kung-Fu Panda and fell asleep on the couch. I did watch the rest on Saturday morning though. It was pretty damn good.

Saturday night I got to see Ricky Elz and his lovely special lady friend at The Scottish Arms. It was good to see them and catch up. The biggest revelation of the night is that Eric has nicknames for anyone he cares about. So if he ever calls you by your full name then you know you are off of his will. In addition to the conversation I had some delicious beers and chips. That place is pretty nice, but I never understand what type of person hangs out there. Which is not necessarily a bad thing, just something to think about.

Sunday I woke up with a terrible headache, but managed to fight it off, walk the dogs, and play a few hours of Zelda.

This is so funny it makes my head hurt again:

No Fleas

I don't have fleas, but I sort of wish that was the problem.

My itching made me so crazy the last few days that I wanted to die. I finally broke down and went to the doctor and they said: oh it is just eczema (severe dry skin). I already knew I had that, but it had never been nearly this bad. My arms, legs and ears were all fudged up. They gave me some steroids and told me to buy expensive lotion. Today the itching is a little better, but I tried to bench press 400lbs and was unsuccessful. Whoever said steroids makes you stronger is a liar. (Ok I know that joke was bad, but wouldn't you have been disappointed in me if I hadn't wrote it?)

I somehow convinced myself on Wednesday that my wii playing had made me itchy. I had been feeling a little better, but then it flared up when I was playing Twilight Princess. Thank goodness that I am not allergic to the video games.

Casey told me she bought me a present today. Hopefully it is a good one and not another bag of rotten vegetables. We'll see.......

Until we meet again.

Ahhhhhhhhhhhhh!

I'm not sure why, but I am very itchy. Mostly my arms. It is almost like the itch you get when you have a sunburn, but worse. I wonder what I am allergic to? This has happened before when I changed laundry detergent, but that is not the case this time. I am pretty sure that I might die.

Maybe I have fleas.

Someone from my college posted a bunch of pictures and it really took me back. I'm not in any of them, but I know pretty much everyone in them. Ahhh the 90s.

2009

I wish that I would have made a new year's resolution to do the following things:

-Play video games
-Watch movies
-Drink Beer

If I would have then I would be on track for the best year ever. I still might actually because I like to do all these things. We shall see.

Things that have happened lately:

-Won weight loss contest. Thank you very much. I have been mostly unregulated since the contest ended, but hopefully haven't gained more than a pound or two back.

-Went to festivus party. Was very fun. I drank all of the malt liquor in the house. It only consisted of 24 ounces of Olde English, but that is still pretty good. Thanks Joe & Emily for hanging with us while very preggers.

-Was abandoned by wife and little dog on xmas. They went to Nebraska. They came back though so all is well. Wicket and I sat at home and threw darts at pictures of both of them.

-Saw the family a lot which was nice. It is always nice to have Greg around. I think I drove to Fenton about 75 times.

-Went to Art Museum & saw Benji Buttons. Both were good.

-Saw a little bit of 2 quintessential pine tree brothers (Erobs and DOB). I also saw their significant peoples (J-dog, Brigid, Little Brigid, Little Eric, Cone Dog). It was good to see them all even if it was brief.

-Went to Lemmons where the movies have resumed. This makes me happy because I really haven't been able to get into the NFL this year. Maybe it is because the Rams are terrible. Who knows.

-Had a low key New Year's eve. The Mrs and I walked to Blockbuster and watched Baby Mama. We did make it past midnight though. We rule!!!!!

-Had a delicious brunch at our house on the 1st for the Ashley/Shadow/Ben/Sean household. We had potatoes, waffles w/whipped cream & strawberries, mimosas, bacon, eggs, toast, cinnamon rolls, coffee. That might have been all, but it was pretty great. All I made was the waffles and then Casey yelled at me because I would rather eat off of a dirty plate then clean one off for myself. She sure changed her tune when her face was pressed on on that hot waffle iron. I just want to see if anyone is still reading by this point.

-Karista came over for some beers and Iron Man viewing. I must admit that I really enjoy that movie. Maybe more that I should. I'm sorry.

-Hung out with Amy & Gene and got our Wiis synced up. Let the fun begin.

-Went to going away partay for Kevin. He will be missed, but I'm sure we will see him again. He will probably have a good time and see some cool stuff. This will add another leg to an east coast trip that will hopefully happen this year.

-Ate at Pi again with Anne & Karista and ran interference for Anne. Did I mention that I love Pi. Her sister gave her number to this neighbor from out of town and he sort of asked her out we guess. He was harmless, but mostly boring. He did wear a ring on his thumb for whatever that means.

-Played about 9 hours of Zelda: Twilight Princess. I kind of love it. I have also been playing World of Goo which is a must.

Work is sure to be insane for the next month so hopefully I'll come out of it alive.

2009 don't break my heart.
